CRM Support

Portal Connector supports integration with Dynamics CRM 8.2 (Dynamics CRM 2016). However, Microsoft has ended support for versions prior to Dynamics 365 v9.1.

Dataverse Support (new)

Portal Connector can connect directly to Microsoft Dataverse without requiring Dynamics CRM. This enables integration with Business Central and other Dataverse‑based connectors. Dataverse support expands Portal Connector’s role as middleware, allowing projects to leverage the broader Power Platform ecosystem.

Sitefinity CMS. Supported versions:

• 13.3 LTS (supported until April 2026)
• 14.4–15.3

Note: Sitefinity 15.4 is currently under testing and will be listed once officially supported.

Development Prerequisites (apply to all environments)

• Visual Studio 2019 or 2022
• .NET Framework 4.8
• ASP.NET MVC 5
• Local SQL Server instance (for database creation during development)

On‑Prem Hosting Requirements

• Operating System: Windows Server 2016, 2019, or 2022 (Standard/Datacenter, with service updates where noted)
• IIS: Must be configured with TLS/SSL, single binding, and preferably separate from AD FS
• Database: SQL Server (production instance)

Azure Hosting Requirements

• 64‑bit Azure AppService plan
• Azure SQL
